Receiving Faxes

Manual Sending via the Handset

If you have the optional handset or an extension phone connected to
your MultiPASS C20, you can send faxes manually. This allows you to
talk to the other party before sending the fax, which can be useful if the
other party uses a single line for both voice and fax transmissions.

1.

Prepare the document, load it into the Automatic Document Feeder
(ADF), and adjust the resolution as described in “Loading the
Document” on page 4-5.

Lift the handset, and dial the number.

Ex:

If a person answers, you can converse normally. When you are
ready to send the fax, ask the person to press the start button on
their fax, or set their fax machine to receive. Then press

START/COPY

on the MultiPASS C20 and hang up.
