FTP
Note:
FTP printing is supported for Windows, Mac OS, UNIX, Linux and other operating systems supporting the
FTP protocol.

The Scan to FTP function is no longer supported. This setting still displays but is not valid.
The imagePRESS Server supports an FTP server that is compliant with the following RFC959 features:
•
[STOR (put)] and [STORU (put unique)]: Transfer the print job to the FTP server.
•
[IMAGE (BINARY)]: Transfer data in binary mode.
•
[SYST] and [STAT]: Retrieve basic FTP server status.
•
[STREAM] mode: Transmit data as a stream of bytes.
•
[LIST] and [NLIST]: List the files and directories.
•
[PASV (passive mode)]: Specify passive mode FTP.
•
[NOOP]: No action.
•
[HELP]P: Provide help for FTP server.
•
[QUIT]: Terminate connection.
•
[USER (username)], [PASS (password)]: Provide user name and password for FTP server.
•
[ABOR (abort)]: Abort the connection.
•
[CWD (change working directory)]: Change working directory.
•
[REIN (reinitialize)]: Reinitialize connection.
•
[REST (restart)]: Restart the file transfer.
Use FTP Passive Mode
When this option is selected, the FTP server opens a dynamic port, sends the FTP client the server's IP address
to connect to and the port on which it is listening over the control stream and waits for a connection from the
FTP client.
