Netbios Name
The Netbios name appears on the network for accessing the imagePRESS Server through SMB. The default
name is the same as the server name.
Note:
After selecting the DNS Setup options and WINS name server settings, wait until the printer stops
processing jobs, and then turn off and on the printer for the settings to take effect.
IPv6
Enable IPv6
Enables the imagePRESS Server to retrieve an IPv6 address from the network.
If
Enable IPv6
is selected:
•
A link-local address is created.
•
The corresponding router needs to exist on the network to create a stateless address.
Note:
IPv6 supports HTTP, IPP, LPR, Port 9100, SMB and SNMP protocols. The behavior of SMTP, POP, and
SLP protocols is not guaranteed when enabled.

Automatically displays the imagePRESS Server IPv6 address.
IPv6 has the following limitations:

DDNS feature is not supported.
•
DHCPv6 is not supported.
•
Fiery JDF is not supported
•
Router Advertisement address is limited to 8.
•
Fiery applications do not support IPv6.
Enable IPv6 Filter
Select to allow IP filtering on the imagePRESS Server.
