Configure automatic printing with a USB flash drive
Prepare the USB flash drive with the correct folder structure and appropriate files before the USB flash drive is
connected to the imagePRESS Server.
Because file processing begins as soon as you connect the USB flash drive to the imagePRESS Server, there is no time
to do any file management tasks, such as moving files to a different folder or deleting files.
For more information on connecting the USB flash drive, see
on page 20.

Managing Email address books
The email address books are used to verify users when they submit print jobs by emailing attached files to the
imagePRESS Server. You can retrieve an address book, add an address, delete an address, or clear the entire book.
You can manage the email address books by sending an email message in a particular format to the imagePRESS
Administrator commands for managing address books
on page 113.
The imagePRESS Server supports a maximum of 1,000 entries in each address book.
Important:
Email messages to manage the address books can be sent only from an administrator account.
Types of address books
The imagePRESS Server supports different types of address books that allow control over sending emails and files to
recipients, and print jobs.
Admin
Members of the Admin book can modify the address book, get the current
address book from the imagePRESS Server, cancel a job, or receive the
status of a job. However, membership in this address book does not provide
the same privileges as the Administrator password.
Includes users who have print access. Members of the Print book can submit
jobs by email to the imagePRESS Server. Unauthorized users receive an
email reply that their job was not accepted by the imagePRESS Server for
printing.
