2. Settings check
1) Insert the power plug into the outlet and turn on the main power of the ma-
chine.
After turning on the power of the machine, perform the shutdown
sequence to turn off the power.
2) Turn on the main power switch of the machine.
After turning on the power of the machine, check the following setting for
usage of the ZJ-A board.
3) Enter service mode.
Check to find COPIER > FUNCTION > INSTALL > GS-CHECK.
3. Operation Check
1) Set a paper on the copyboard glass.
2) After making the following selections: COPIER > FUNCTION > IN-
STALL > GS-CHECK, press the OK key. Connection/operation check
for the ZJ-A board is executed.
3) After completing the check, the judgment results (OK!/NG!) is displayed.

MEMO:
At power on just after installing the reader, the screen to prompt shutdown
is displayed. Reboot is required to change the setting from printer model
into copy model. Copy model is enabled after rebooting. (The reader
becomes available.)
