DIP-SWITCH FUNCTION
DIP 1
Function mode OP/CL inputs. The memorised transmitters follow the same functioning mode.
ON
Input with Step/Step function, an 8K2 input would in any case have a Step/Step function.
The command sequences: OPEN>STOP>CLOSE>STOP>OPEN...
OFF
OP/CL input with separate Open/Close function. One button has the
OPEN (OPEN>STOP>OPEN>STOP...) function, the other has the CLOSE
(CLOSE>STOP>CLOSE>STOP...) function.
Use an 8K2 resistance in series with the button OPEN as indicated in the diagram at Fig.4.
DIP 2
Automatic reopening after Wind Alarm
ON
In the event of a wind alarm, the unit commands the closure of the motor, but if the alarm
activates with the motor open or in the opening phase, when the wind alarm has ended, an
opening manoeuvre is commanded.
OFF
In the event of a wind alarm, the unit commands the closure of the motor without automatic
restarting.
DIP 3
AUX input function
ON
The contact CLOSES for 90 seconds when a manoeuvre command is sent to the control unit
or through a radio transmitter associated with the AUX function.
OFF
The contact CLOSES for 1 second only through the radio transmitter associated with the
AUX function.
DIP 4
Function with rain alarm
ON
In the event of a rain alarm, the unit commands the opening of the motor (if at the same time
the wind alarm should activate, this last has priority and the motor closes)
OFF
In the event of a rain alarm, the unit commands a closure of the motor.
APPLICATION OF THE SEAL
A seal is included for insertion into the appropriate housing as indicated in figure 1.
Its insertion must be started from below to avoid water seeping into the central container.
The IP level of protection is only guaranteed if the seal is applied correctly.
Furthermore, there is provision for the application of PG11 type cable glands.
SUN/WIND/RAIN SENSORS AND ALARM MANAGEMENT
The control unit manages 3 sensors by means of the appropriate inputs: Sun, wind and rain.
The sensitivity of the sun and wind sensors is managed by trimmers:
P1 = sun sensor threshold adjustment
P2 = wind sensor threshold adjustment
The rain sensor activates if the sensor is stimulated at least twice in a 50 second period, in order to avoid false rain
alarms in the event of accidental or involuntary activation
