1 INTRODUCTION

DESCRIPTION

The telephone exchange can make systems for communication in homes and offices combining the
telephone services with the door entry services.
In the basic version it can manage 1 analog telephone line, 2 door entry calls and up to 8 telephones.
Another telephone can be connected in parallel to each telephone.
Commands such as opening the door lock or switching on the staircase light can be activated by telephone.
Or by purchasing the relay expansion module (item 335916) extra devices can be operated, e.g. opening
the driveway gate or other.
The Distributor and video Expander accessories can connect up to 8 video door entry telephones, (as an
alternative to the 8 telephones which can be directly connected to the exchange), 3 outdoor video door
entry stations and a surveillance camera, offering great simplification in making the system.

Because of its ease of use and flexible services the exchange is particularly suitable for use in homes,
shops or offices. Its full compatibility with both pulse-dial telephones (such as dial telephones) and touch-
tone telephones with keypad, is guaranteed.
The telephones can thus be of any type, including two-standard telephones (pulse-dial/touch-tone),
cordless telephones and devices for the office (fax, answering machines and modem).
With pulse-dial telephones not all the exchange services and performance can be used.
