Caution:
Connect the instrument to an AC line power outlet that has a protective
ground connection. To ensure satisfactory and safe operation of the
instrument, it is essential that the protective ground conductor (the green
/ yellow lead) of the line power cord is connected to true electrical
ground. Any interruption of the protective ground conductor, inside or
outside the instrument, or disconnection of the protective ground
terminal, can impair the instrument-provided protection.

The ultraflex III mass spectrometer is designed for indoor use and functions correctly
