In each of these modes, touching the Home icon ( ) will return you to the Install Sensor Screen
(Provizio SEM Scanner S only, Section 4.5) or the Mode Selection Screen (Provizio SEM Scanner only),
and a new patient session will begin.
4.6.1
Automatic Upload mode
Upon entering Automatic Upload mode, the Manual Patient ID Entry screen (Section 4.6.4) will
be displayed if the scanner does not have a barcode reader. This will allow you to key in the
patient ID.
If the scanner has a barcode reader, the display will show the barcode scanning screen(s)
(Figure 16). The barcode reader will accept both 1-D and 2-D barcodes.

Press the Barcode button ( ) to activate the scanner. Use the green light to aim the reader at
the barcode (Figure 17).
