#1:
Back of the heel around the calcaneus. Avoid
placing the Provizio SEM Scanner on the Achilles
tendon.
#2:
Lateral side of the heel. Lateral side is the same
side as the little toe (fifth toe). Avoid placement of the
Provizio SEM Scanner on the lateral malleolus
#3:
Medial side of the heel. Medial side is the same
side as the big toe (first toe). Avoid placement of the
Provizio SEM Scanner on the medial malleolus.
#4:
Heel pad (sole of the heel) from the back edge of
the heel.

#1 begins x of the left heel.

#2 through #4 are positioned side-by-side from #1.
3.
If one of the measurement locations is calloused, do not take a reading there.
