Creating stippling or echo patterns
automatically
Stippling or echo quilting patterns can be created around the
machine’s built-in patterns or original embroidery data
without using My Design Center.

Select the pattern that stippling will be added around.

in the embroidery edit screen.
Stippling is automatically applied around the
selected pattern.
To select multiple patterns, refer to page 42.

After specifying the stitch settings for the stippling,

To create a stippling pattern, touch

create an echo quilting pattern, touch

If an embroidery frame size is selected, the stippling is
added within the area of the selected frame size. If the
pattern is larger than the selected frame size, the area
indicating the frame size will appear in gray.

Specify the distance from the outline of the pattern to the
stippling.

Specify the spacing for the stippling.
Memo
• If this simple stippling operation is used with
batting sandwiched between two layers of fabric,
the embroidery pattern and stippling may become
misaligned. For details on quilting, refer to
