8 Reprocessing

Packing

Sterilisation in the transportation packaging is not allowed.

The packaging must meet the following requirements:

•

EN (ANSI AAMI) ISO 11607 / EN 868-2...10 (formerly EN
868 / ANSI AAMI ISO 11607)

•

Suitable for steam sterilisation (resistant to temperatures
up to 137°C, sufficient steam permeability)

•

Regular maintenance (sterilisation container)



Check the instrument components for completeness.



Autoclave the handle only in the unlatched position.



Place the components in the reprocessing basket as shown in the
following figure:



Pack the reprocessing basket with the components in a suitable
disposable sterilisation package and/or a suitable sterilisation
container
