Fault
Possible cause
Troubleshooting
Too little water inflow
0
Is the angle valve furred up?
► Have the installation checked by an installation technician
0
Is the supply hose kinked?
► When the appliance is installed, make sure the supply hose is laid correctly
0
Aquastop / inlet valve - insufficient flow?
► Check the filter for dirt or blockage and clean it if necessary
► Check the throughput of the valve, replace it
Drain valve of
heat exchanger
is leaky
-
The
heat exchanger
empties itself between the washing cycle and the final
rinse. There is then not enough water in the final rinse to heat up the tableware
sufficiently to subsequently dry it. The heat exchanger needs to be filled even after
standing for a considerable time. If the customers complains of “water inside the
appliance / in the body of the pump”, this may indicate a leaky drain valve.
-
Note: during the final rinse there is no run-out detection for the circulating pump,
and therefore no detection of a low water level.
No or insufficient rinse aid is added
-
In the test programme you can check its activation (number of impulses = dosage
setting). The magnet must move the appropriate number of times.
► If the impulses are correct, then the dispenser is defective. Replace the dispenser.
► If the impulses are not correct. Check the settings. Possibly replace the power
module
Low rinse-aid indicator never lights up
► Plug of low rinse-aid sensor is not correctly plugged in. Check the connection.
-
This has the effect that low rinse aid is never indicated. So the customer does not
replenish it. When “3-in-1” products are used, the customer fails to set the rinse aid
setting to “0” (because the display is not a nuisance). The programme is then not
automatically optimised for “3-in-1” mode.
Poor drying result - technical causes
The
heat exchanger
is not correctly in-
stalled.
-
The
heat exchanger
is not sufficiently in contact with the container. This reduces
cooling on the container side and reduces the condensation surface. This reduces
the drying performance.
► Check the fixing and catches (3)
Water in the bottoms of cups
?
Cup support clip Mat. no.:[ 618565]
-
Depending on the tableware used and the way in which it is loaded, the cups may
be insufficiently tilted. Water cannot drain away.
► Advise the customer, it is possible to retrofit a cup support clip at a number of
locations in the upper basket to increase the angle of tilt.
Poor drying result - other possible causes
Drops on container / inner door
-
The physics of the “condensation drying” principle means that water droplets
can and should be expected to form on the container. The moisture in the air
condenses on the inner walls of the dishwasher, runs down and is pumped out.
