to be followed. Pressing the same <F3> key you leave the block
display and go back to the MDI editor.
<F4> Activation (i.e. transfer to the NC) of the NC block that has the
focus in the MDI editor. If several blocks have the focus, this
block of NC blocks is activated.
<F5> The content of the MDI editor is deleted.
<F6> Zoom: the MDI editor takes up the entire space between the
M-keys, F-keys and the header. This is especially important for
the BTV 16 if editing is to take place in existing MDI blocks
before starting processing again.
<F7> The MDI editor loses the focus, which is placed on the next
sub-window.
<F8> An options dialog box is opened; see fig. 6-10 " Options dialog
box for the MDI editor" on page 70 .
<F9> The MDI editor loses the focus; the main F-key level of the NC
screen becomes active. The second main F-key level (<F8>
and then <F7>) can be used to set the focus back on the MDI
editor.
6.2.2 Options
An options dialog box can be used to modify the behavior of the MDI editor.

The following applies:

The <Enter> key has the same effect as <F4> (Apply MDI block):

<ENTER> triggers the "Transfer MDI block" function (default setting).
– The <ENTER> key works with the normal line feed function in the
MDI editor.
● Convert all lower-case letters into capitals:

Conversion "ON".
– Conversion "OFF" (default setting).
