The F-key <F3> ("Subdirectory") or, as an alternative, <F4> ("Superordi‐
nate directory".)
The F-key <F8> ("File update") updates the content of the directory.
If the cursor is on a file, the F-key <F5> ("Show file") or a double click can be
used to display the file in the program window.
To display the program in the "Program" window, the file attribute "Read" (r)
needs to be set.
The selected NC program can be accessed again via the "Stack" window.
Selecting the subroutine in the stack:
The stack allows to access subroutines that are organized in a stack depth of
7 in relation to a main program.
If the subroutine was stopped by "M0" or an active breakpoint, it can be dis‐
played in the structure that is currently applicable. In such a case, the execution
of all other programs that have started that subroutine is stopped.
The names of all programs active in the start structure are shown in the
"Stack" window. There you may select a program and display it with the F-key
<F5> ("Go to start") in the "Program" window.
In the selected program, it is now possible to watch local variables and set new
breakpoints as required. The start structure in the stack tells the program stack
through which the selected program was started.
Activate the "Stack" window.
Use the F-keys<F8> ("Extend start stack" or "Close start stack") to open/close
the stacking levels caused by the main program and subroutine starts.
Select one of the programs (subroutines) in the "Stack" window and press the
F-key <F5> ("Go to start").
You can see the last "calling" active program through the arrow in the program
block currently to be processed where block processing is standing.
Navigating in subroutines:
Navigating in active subroutines is also possible in the "Program" window. This
can be used to jump into a used subroutine immediately after the selection of
the program. To do this, activate the "Program" window. Use the arrow keys or
the mouse to position on an NC block that contains a subroutine start. Switch
to the next F-key level and press the F-key <F6> ("Open subroutine") to show
the subroutine. If there is no subroutine start in the block, a corresponding
message appears. You can navigate back to the active program with <F7>
( "Open current program").
Setting and Editing Breakpoints
Breakpoints can be used in different channels in the NC analyzer in DIN and
CPL programs. The breakpoint is a point where block processing in sequential
block operation stops. At this point, it is possible to check variable values and
change them as required.
The breakpoint appears as a circle icon at the NC block before which the NC
analyzer is to stop.
The variables information in the "Values" window all refer to the blocks pro‐
cessed until the breakpoint was reached.
All following blocks, including the block before which the breakpoint is located
have not yet been included in the program processing.
Breakpoints are used for the following purposes:
