Which of the two forms - classical or text entry - will finally be active in the entry
is only decided by the following entry. The form determined in this connection
is maintained until the result is shown or a reset is performed.
Performing a Calculation
In order to use the classical design, i.e. operation by means of keys in the hybrid
mode, click on the entry keys (numbers, functions, brackets). Alternatively, you
can press the shortcut of an entry key whereas the focus must not be on the
display field. After the first entry, the display field is provided with the edit pro‐
tection (gray background).
The entry must be completed as described under the classical operating mode.
In order to achieve the text entry design in the hybrid mode, the focus must be
set into the display box. The first modification of the text by editing changes the
calculator's design. Afterwards, all entry keys will be disabled.
The entry must be completed as described under the text output operating
mode.
Click on the result key ("="). You can also use the <Return> key , the <Enter>
key or the shortcut <=>.
Working with the Memory
By means of the memory, numbers from the display can be buffered in all op‐
erating modes and called for further use.
The content of the memory is neither influenced by closing the "Calculations
and Tables" dialog nor by a reset.
