Soroc: IQ-120 Terminal Setup
1. Disconnect the AC power cord from the outlet before opening the IQ-120 case.
2. Manual controls are located on the rear of the IQ-120. Set the Block/Full/Half switch to FULL and
the baud rate switch to the desired rate compatible with the LinkUp 5294.
3. Locate Switch C13 on the logic board of the terminal. These switches are used to specify the
transmitted character format. Set these switches to correspond to the configuration parameters as
follows:

When using auxiliary print, it is important to set the options for all devices and ports consistently.
4. Replace the cover on the terminal. Connect the terminal to the LinkUp 5294 with a modem or
direct- connect cable, as appropriate.
NOTE
The auxiliary port of the IQ-120 terminal can be used with the LinkUp 5294 Auxiliary
Printer facility.
