ADM-3A Emulation Terminal Setup
The ADM3P Terminal Module was designed to support those terminals and software packages providing
emulation of an ADM-3A terminal, the ADM3P Terminal Module was designed. It is different from the
standard ADM3P Terminal module because in many cases the emulation provided by software emulators
is only partial.
The ADM3P Module differs from the ADM3A in the following respects:
1. On the ADM3A, the LinkUp 5294 allows display of a character in the last position on the screen (row
24, column 80) since it is possible to defeat the ADM3A auto-scroll capability with a switch setting.
Most ADM3A emulators scroll when a character is displayed in the last position, so the ADM3P driver
prevents display of data at Row 24, Column 80.
