APPENDIX D: System/36 Configuration Guide

Verify that the devices you configured are optional. Make sure display stations are powered on and that
there is a sign-on display.

Make sure your printers are turned on and ready to print. Press the print key at that display station.
Observe which printer id printing. The printer assigned to that particular display should print.

If you have problems, compare a configuration printout with what should be defined. Verify that the
communication line is defined properly. If not, use the SETCOMM procedure described in
Step 13.

If there are any problems associated with the CNFIGSSP procedure, consult your IBM System/36
Operations Manual.
