1. When setting the Parity option in the terminal configurator, note that 8 bits is allowed even though
the keyboard is set for 7-bit controls.
2. The AUX port on the CE 7103 terminal can be used with the LinkUp 5294 Auxiliary Printer facility.
3. The CE 7103 terminal is the only one in the industry which supports unique auxiliary printer
handshaking. This means if the CE 7103 detects an X-OFF command or DTR dropping, it will
redirect the data (directed to the auxiliary printer) to an auxiliary printer buffer. When the auxiliary
printer buffer is almost full, the terminal will send an auxiliary print-inhibit sequence to the LinkUp
5294, which is distinguishable from the flow control of the display, enabling you to continue with
your display session uninterrupted. This CE 7103 feature operates successfully up to 9600 baud.
