4. Replace the cover, reconnect the AC power cord, and connect the terminal to the LinkUp 5294 with
a modem or direct-connect cable, as appropriate.
NOTE
Data General terminals do not use industry-standard sequences for character
backspace and cursor control. Consequently, to use the LinkUp 5294 configurator with
this terminal ryou must make no mistakes in typing, since an attempt to backspace the
cursor to correct a mistake will send the cursor home instead.
