top
command returns to the top hierarchy level, command mode.

Syntax
top
traceroute
Description
The
traceroute
command tracks the route taken by packets across an IP network on their way to a given
host. This command is implemented as a standard Linux command that can be accessed from within the
ETEP CLI. The syntax of the command follows Linux conventions. Linux commands are case-sensitive.

Syntax
traceroute [-dFInrvx] [-g gateway] [-i iface] [-f first_ttl] [-m max_ttl] [-p
port] [-q nqueries] [-s src_addr] [-t tos] [-w waittime] [-z pausemsecs] host
[packetlen]
Attributes
-d -
Enable socket-level debugging.
-F -
Set the “don’t fragment” bit.
-I
-
Use ICMP ECHO for probes.
-n -
Print hop addresses numerically. Do not try to map IP addresses to host names.
-r -
Bypass normal routing tables and send directly to a host on an attached network.
-v -
Verbose output.
-x -
Prevent traceroute from calculating checksums.
