The

password

command allows a user to modify his or her own password.

Usage Guidelines

Users can modify their own passwords to maintain account security and when reminded that the current
password is going to expire. The

password

command resets a user’s password, in compliance with the

password policy enabled by the Administrator (default or strong password controls).

After entering the password command, the ETEP prompts you for the new password. Enter the new
password, and when prompted, re-enter it to confirm.
