SAMPLING PROCEDURES
Zero Only
Zero sampling is necessary when the scale has already been calibrated and the
zero value has moved when the unit switches on. This can happen when the
preset tare is not known exactly at the moment of the first sampling, or when an
unexpected weight is on the scale. No sample weight needs to be available.
Check that there are no weights or other materials on the scale
Check that the weight is stable
Press Sample
Wait a few seconds for data acquisition
Confirm if you want to accept the sampling or delete to refuse
Full Scale
Zero
To be used in linear weighing systems. One or several sample weights are
required to sample the full scale value, or in any case a well known weight value
(to perform the sampling use as much of known weight available to get as close
as possible to the full scale value). It is possible to write the value of the known
weight used inside the Capacity box

Check that the weight is stable
Press Sample to sample the zero
Wait a few seconds
Change the “Capacity” field by entering the known weight or sample mass
value you want to use to sample the scale
Place the known weight or sample mass on the scale and wait for the
system to stabilise
Press the Sample button

Linearised 1
PT
At least 2 sample or known weights are required for linearised sampling at one
point, one for sampling the intermediate value and the other for sampling the full
scale value.
The sampling procedure is the same as that used by the full scale zero system,
but in this case several points must be sampled.
Linearised 2
PT
At least 3 sample or known weights are required for linearised sampling at two
points, one for sampling the 1st intermediate value, the second for sampling the
2nd intermediate point and the 3rd for sampling the full scale value.
The sampling procedure is the same as that used by the full scale zero system,
but in this case several points must be sampled.
Hysteresis Linearisations
To be used in systems with a hysteresis. Aside from sampling zero and the full scale value, it also
samples different intermediate points for the ascent and descent of the Real weight/Measured
weight curve.
Hysteresis
Linearis.
At least 2 sample weights are required for the hysteresis correction at 1 point, one
for sampling the 1st intermediate point, and the other to add to the first for
