OFF
Any tares set or acquired are automatically deleted when the scale
returns to zero, i.e. gross weight = 0
ON
Any tares set or acquired remain stored even when the scale has
no load and therefore the gross weight = 0
ZERO
Forced zero (e)
0
Defines the division range (e) around zero within which
forced zero setting will be performed on scale unloading or in
the presence of a stable weight. "Scale unloading" refers to
the moment when the weight falls below the minimum
weighing value. On indicators subject to metrical verification,
this parameter must be set to 0 (zero).

Zero track (e)
0
Defines the division range around zero within which zero
tracking is performed to small gradual variations in the weight
reading.
Example: snow, dust, water falling on the scale.
For dosing systems, set the value to 0 (zero)
When zero track is disabled, even forced zero is
automatically disabled.

Initial reset
Defines the indicator operating mode upon switching on.
Sampled
zero
Upon switching on, the instrument indicates the weight value
present on the scale compared to the zero value
programmed at the time of sampling.
Auto-zero
Upon switching on, the indicator performs the auto-zero. In
case of a legal instrument, the auto-zero occurs in a range
between -5% and +15% of the full scale value around the
calibrated zero. In case of a non-legal instrument this range
varies from -50% to +50%.
Automatic Zero
ON
The indicator resets the weight if a negative weight reading
remains stable for 5 seconds
