Improper Phone Settings
IMPORTANT:
You may not receive alerts, including the Very
Low Glucose Alert, during this period if you choose to postpone
changing the settings.
Note:
If Notifications, Notification Sounds, Lock Screens or Banners,
Critical Alerts, or
Bluetooth
settings are turned off in your phone, a
“Phone Settings Not Set Properly” icon (
!
) will appear at the top of
the Home screen. Tap the “Phone Settings Not Set Properly” icon to
display which phone/App settings are not set optimally and follow the
instructions on the bottom of the screen to adjust your phone settings.
Optimal Phone Settings:
•
Bluetooth
settings are “On”
• Critical Alerts are “On”
• Notifications are “On”
• Sounds for Notifications are “On”
• Lock Screen and Banners are “On”
• Downtime and App Limits are “Off” in Screen Time (or if Downtime
or App Limits are “On,” add the Bigfoot Unity App to Always
Allowed)
Tap
Go to Phone Settings
to change
Bluetooth
settings, Critical Alerts and
Notifications settings.
You have the option to tap
Dismiss for 2
hours
to postpone changing these settings
and continue using the App. You can choose
to dismiss for up to a total of 4 hours.
However, after 4 hours, you must set phone
settings properly or you will not be able to
continue using the Bigfoot Unity App. The
bottom of the screen will display the time at
which you must set phone settings properly.
