instructions given in this manual for each parameter, and check whether or not further settings are required for the
particular system.
Factory settings (Menu 6.4)
This function can be used to return all settings to their default values.
b
Doing so will permanently erase all parameterization, analytical and other user-entered data from the controller.
After use of this function, all controller settings will again assume the default values listed in the table at the end of
this section.
Turn time (Menu 6.5.1)
The time in seconds for which the mixer valve turns (opening or closing), before a new temperature control measurement
is taken.
Setting range: 0.1 sec to 3 secs / Default: see table.
Pause factor (Menu 6.5.2)
This parameter sets a multiplication factor for calculated pause time. For example, if calculated pause time is 1, a setting
of 0.5 would halve it, while a setting of 4 would quadruple it.
Setting range: 0.1 sec to 4 secs / Default: see table.
Increase (Menu 6.5.3)
If a rapid increase in temperature occurs, this value is added to the DHW temperature to ensure that the mixer reacts
faster. As soon as measured temperature stops rising, the actual DHW temperature is used again.
Temperature is measured once every minute.
Setting range: 0 to 20 / Default: see table.
Anti-legionella (Menu 6.6 )
With the AL function activated, the controller heats the storage cylinder during a selectable period and for a set length of
time (AL residence time), until the target temperature setpoint (AL Tset) is reached. The 0-10V pump and the mixer valve
use AL Tset +1° as their reference temperature. As long as AL is active, Tmax is set to AL Tset +10° to prevent system
shutdown. The AL residence time condition is met when AL Tset +5° is held at S2 for the set time. This is displayed as
“AL heat” in the menu. If the AL function does not terminate successfully, a new attempt is made at the next AL period.
Menu 6.6.1
AL function
- setting range: On, Off / Default: see table
Menu 6.6.2
AL T set
- setting range: 60°C to 99 °C /Default: see table.
Menu 6.6.3
AL residence time
- setting range: 1 min to 60 mins / Default: see table.
Menu 6.6.4
AL period
- setting range: Mon to Sun, 0 to 24 h / Default: Daily from 3 to 5 a.m.
Menu 6.6.5
AL heat:
- shows the date of the last successful AL cycle
Speed control (Menu 6.7)
b
The controller’s 0-10V output is capable of controlling special pumps. This function should only be selected and set
up by a specialist. Settings must be based on the specifications of the pump manufacturer.
Max. speed (6.7.1)
This is where the maximum speed of the pump is set. During the setting procedure, the pump runs at the selected speed
so that the flow rate can be determined. 100% corresponds to 10V, 90% to 9V etc..
Setting range: 70 to 100% / Default: see table.
Min. speed (Menu 6.7.2)
This is where the minimum speed of the pump is set. During the setting procedure, the pump runs at the selected speed
so that the flow rate can be determined.
Setting range: 12% to max speed minus 5% / Default: see table.
Pump u0 (Menu 6.7.3)
Some pumps, e.g. pumps with cable break detection, need a minimum voltage even when switched off. This minimum
voltage can be set here.
Setting range: 0 to 1.5 V / Default: see table.
Pump u0 (Menu 6.8)
The controller can control an auxiliary pump (like the second DHW pump in this mixer unit) to boost flow in the presence
of a high demand for hot water.
Flow On (Menu 6.8.1)
The auxiliary pump switches on when this flow rate is exceeded.
Setting range: 4 to 40 l/h / Default: see table.
Flow Off (Menu 6.8.2)
The auxiliary pump switches off when flow drops below this rate.
Setting range: 2 to 38 l/h / Default: see table.
On delay (Menu 6.8.3)
This sets a delay before the auxiliary pump switches on.
Setting range: 1 sec to 60 secs / Default: see table.
Limescale protection (Menu 6.9)
