USE AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CONTROLLER

ABOUT THE CONTROLLER

The controller enables efficient use and operational control of the mixer system.

Intelligent control of the two parallel primary circuit pumps optimises energy consumption and ensures 60% system perfor-

mance even in the event of a malfunction in one of the pumps.

 - When DHW is drawn off, the controller switches on the first pump. If this pump is not able to provide the required flow,

the controller then switches on the second pump to increase the flow and satisfy the user’s request. The controller also

switches the second pump on if DHW temperature fails to reach the setpoint within 5 seconds of the first pump being

switched on.

 - If the demand for DHW falls significantly, the controller switches the second pump off to save energy and optimise

control of DHW temperature.

 - A heating curve can be set for the primary circuit using dedicated control parameters (default min. temp. 48 °C; max.

temp. 60°C) to satisfy hot water requests instantly while avoiding the heat loss typically encountered with fixed setpoint

mixing systems.

At the time of the product being supplied, all the above parameters are factory set at default values; these can be re-

programmed, by an expert service technician, according to the demand at the point of use. The controller is not only

functional but extremely easy to use thanks to a virtually self-explanatory user interface. For each of the single setting

procedures, the keys are assigned to specific functions and explained. The controller menu contains key words for the

measured values and settings, as well as help texts and graphs.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:

 - 0 - 10V output for pump speed control

 - Backlit display showing text and graphic content

 - Simple viewing of current measurement values

 - Analysis and monitoring of the system by means of sta-

tistical graphs, etc.

 - Extensive setting menus with explanations

 - Menu lock: activated to prevent unintentional alteration

of settings
