Placards and Labels
All placards and labels shall be readable in all cockpit lighting conditions.
The following circuit breaker label will be added as part of the KA 310 installation:
AP ADPT
The new placard(s) shall meet the following requirements:
The font size of the new placard shall be the same size as the original placard
The color of the new placard shall be the same as the color of the original placard
The text on the new placard shall be the same as the text on the original placard
The new placard shall be readable in all lighting conditions
The new placard shall be located on the same bus as the existing Autopilot Circuit Breaker (s).
3.8
Power Distribution
The KA 310 can operate on either 14 or 28 VDC. The KA 310 is powered from the aircraft’s avionics bus
through a circuit breaker. The KA 310 requires a 2 AMP circuit breaker for both 14 and 28 VDC
installations. Refer to APPENDIX B (Figure B-2) for the connection of the KA 310 to the aircraft's power
distribution system.
3.8.1
Circuit Protection
The KA 310 installation requires manually resettable circuit breakers. Refer to APPENDIX B for details on
the electrical installation and circuit breaker ratings.
