This device is a product of the
instabus
EIB-system and complies with EIBA directives. Detailed
technical knowledge obtained in
instabus
training courses is a prerequisite for proper understanding.
Functionality of this device is depending on the software and on the physical address.
Detailed information on loadable software and attainable functionality may be taken from the
manufacturer’s product database.
The Backbone- / Line Coupler allows for filtering
instabus
EIB telegrams between two
instabus
EIB
backbones/lines.
Each backbone and each line needs ist own power supply.

Installation
Caution! The installation and assembly of electrical equipment may be carried out only by a
skilled person.
Planning, installation and commissioning of the unit is done by means of EIBA certified software.
The secondary line is connected to the data rail

To apply the physical address the programming key

must be actuated. The red LED

lights up
and goes out when the physical address has been taken over.
The Backbone/Line coupler is to be allocated to the secondary line.
