Changing the Management Network IP Address from the Monitor Wall
The
Management Network
IP address, system name, and other parameters can be set via a
control panel on the monitor wall, however this will also change the current IP address of
the
Media Network
interfaces.
To change the Management Network IP address of the Kaleido-IP from the monitor wall
1 Connect a mouse to one of the USB connectors of the Kaleido-IP. See
with the Kaleido-IP frame’s USB ports
, on page 96 for more information about this.
2 Connect a keyboard to one of the USB connectors of the Kaleido-IP.
3 Right-click anywhere on the monitor wall, point to
Monitor Wall
(if you clicked a
monitor), and then click
System configuration
.
The
System Configuration
window appears.
4 Click the
Ethernet
tab.
5 Type the required
Management Network’s
IP address, network mask, and gateway
address in the appropriate boxes.
6 Click
OK
.
7 When prompted to restart the system to apply your changes, click
Yes
.
8 Continue with the next procedure to set the IP addresses for the
Media Networks
.
Once you have configured the
Management Network
IP address from the monitor wall, use
XAdmin to configure an IP address for the network adapter that is connected to the
Media
Network
.
