Initializing and Setting Up the Routers

When you enter the slot number to connect to the router, the following prompt
is displayed:

Press CTRL-Y to begin

Press [Ctrl]+y.

The Service Port Diagnostics Menu is displayed (see Figure 3-3).

If you want to return to the Slot Selection Menu, press [Ctrl]+t.

Press t to initialize the Technician Interface.

The following information is displayed:

Control transferred to Technician Interface

Enter ^X to return to CMB Interface

“CMB Interface” refers to the Service Port Diagnostics Menu for the common
management bus discussed earlier in these instructions.

Choice e is for use by trained service representatives.
