6.2.5 Rotary Spray Arms on
Bottle Washing Cart
(Accessory)
See Figure 6-3.
1.
Loosen locknuts from rotary spray arms and remove from Bottle
Washing Cart (see Figure 6-3, Detail).
2.
Use a fine wire (approximately wire gauge of a paper clip) to
clean out sediment. Rinse under running water.
3.
Clean bushing and rinse under running water.
4.
Reinstall rotary spray arms on spray header adaptor and tighten
locknuts.
NOTE: To ease assembly, spray header hub and bushings can
only be installed in one position on spray header adaptor. Align
slot from spray arm to hole on hub (see Figure 6-3, Detail).
5.
Reinstall rotary spray arm assembly on Bottle Washing Cart.
6.2.6 Supply-Line Strainers
NOTE: A STERIS or STERIS-trained service technician is required to
perform this task. Contact STERIS for this service. Preventive main-
tenance is not covered under warranty.
1.
Close building supply lines: hot water, cold water (if applicable),
steam and air.
2.
Remove and clean strainers under running water.
3.
Reinstall strainers.
4.
Open building supply lines.
