Time Base Techniques
These are chronoamperometric techniques; that is, the current is measured as a
function of time. Generally, such techniques are used for amperometric titrations,
amperometric sensors, flow cells, etc. The variation between the three techniques
available on the BAS 100B/W is the potential wave forms used; that is, the potential
wave forms have been modified to improve selectivity.
The simplest potential waveform is obviously a fixed potential, and this is the
waveform for TB. The wave form for TB and a typical current response are shown in
Figure 10-34 and Figure 10-35, respectively.
