12. Fill oil in output shaft (item 9) up to brim of internal splines. Then install cardan shaft (item 10).
13. Place greased o-rings (item 14) in grooves of gearwheel (item 16). Place gearwheel with recess in spline holes
on same side as smallest screw aperture diameter (step hole) in gearwheel rim. Install gearwheel set with this
side turned towards motor.
14. Place gearwheel set on cardan shaft so that top of teeth in external teeth of gearwheel are vertically above slot in
non-splined output shaft, (or vertically above top of a tooth on a 1" 6 B splined shaft), (or vertically above ink mark
on shaft end opposite shaft journal on a 1-1/4" splined shaft).
15. Turn gearwheel set counterclockwise until cardan shaft and gearwheel start to mesh (15 degrees). See Figure 2
16. Turn gearwheel rim so that holes made for screws line up.
17. Install end cover (item 17), turning it so that holes line up.
18. Using a 17 mm hexagon socket, install the seven washers and screws (items 18 and 19). Torque to 460 - 500 in.
lbs. (5.2 - 5.7 daNm).
19. Using a 9/16" hexagon socket, install drain plug (item 22). Torque to 265 - 530 in. lbs. (3 - 6 daNm).
20. Install the two seal plugs (item 13). Knock plugs in with a plastic hammer. After this, take motor out of main
holding tool. Keep any keys secure with, for example, tape, - if keys are used.
