4.2.3.3.4 USB interface
The mounting unit is equipped with 2 USB 2.0 interfaces. They are equipped with a protective cover.
Caution!
IP65 protection can only be achieved if the USB protective cover is properly installed.
Warning!
USB peripheral devices can be connected to the USB interfaces. Due to the variety of USB devices
available on the market, B&R cannot guarantee their functionality. The functionality of USB devices
available from B&R is guaranteed.
Caution!
Due to the general PC specification, this interface must be handled with the utmost care with regard
to EMC, cable routing, etc.

The USB interfaces are available to the user for service purposes.
Information:
In the default configuration, the USB interfaces are the USB1 and USB2 interfaces on the link module.
Depending on the transfer method (SDL or DVI operation), there are limitations regarding the transfer rate for
interfaces USB1 and USB2. For possible transfer methods, see section
"Connection options" on page 21

In SDL3 operation: Low speed (1.5 Mbit/s), full speed (12 Mbit/s) to high speed (30 Mbit/s)
In SDL4 operation: Low speed (1.5 Mbit/s), full speed (12 Mbit/s) to high speed (150 Mbit/s)
