Operating Instructions - (Truma
Monocontrol)
1. Open the gas valve on the cylinder (1).
2. Firmly press the hose rupture protection
(Green button (2)) on the high pressure
hose.
3. If necessary (e.g. after a new installation
or after inadvertently striking the
gas cylinder against the gas pressure
regulation system), hold the green reset
button (3) in for at least 5 seconds
before slowly releasing the crash
sensor triggering element reset on the
MonoControl CS.
NOTE: As standard the Advance
range does not have the Truma
Monocontrol regulator fitted.
Therefore on the Advance you will
only need to screw open the gas
valve.
WARNING: Residual gas may be
present when carrying out any task
on gas cylinders. Do not smoke,
avoid open flames or any source of
ignition.
Gas System Maintainance
The complete gas installation on a motorhome
should be inspected at least once per
annum and as necessary according to usage.
Hoses should conform to BS 3212. It is advisible
to replace hoses annually and in any case no
later than the expiration date marked on the
hose.
Visually check the following:
• Flexible gas hoses for deterioration. Renew
if necessary or renew no later than the
expiration date marked on the hose.
• Check the tightness of seals around joints
and connections.
• Make sure that each gas appliance is
working efficiently to the recommendations
of the appliance manufacturer.
• Always ensure that the gas system is
inspected at least every 12 months. By a
qualified person.
• Always use approved products when
replacing parts.
WARNING: Please ensure that the
hose and O-ring are correctly
installed and not damaged. Ensure
mating surfaces are clean.
Changing The LPG Cylinder
Always change gas containers in the open air to
ensure appropiate ventilation.
Please use the spanner provided to attach and
remove the high pressure hose. Ensure you only
use the correct type of cylinder.
1. Extinguish any flame or source of ignition.
2. Close the empty gas cylinder’s gas valve.
3. Remove the high pressure hose from the
gas cylinder.
4. Attach the high pressure hose to the full
gas cylinder.
5. Open the full cylinder’s valve.
6. Press the hose rupture protection.
Hose Replacement
1. Close gas cylinder’s valve.
2. Remove the high pressure hose from the
gas cylinder and from the regulator inlet.
3. Screw a country-specific high pressure
hose to the MonoControl CS inlet and to
the cylinder.
4. Open the gas cylinder.
