3. Assembly, installation and commissioning
3.1. General
Cordon off the work area against unauthorised entry prior to and during the
installation. The safety of third persons must remain ensured.
Always wear the personal safety gear required, e.g. safety gloves, safety boots (at
least class S3), ear muffs, dust respirator and overalls.
ATTENTION! All the installation work must be carried out by qualified and skilled
workmen
3.2. Prepare the ground
STEP 1
Take care to ensure
that the entire work
area for the gate is
free from
obstructions.
The placement of
existing brickwork
can be obtained from
foundation plan.
STEP
2
1. Keep the cable route
and ducts, and accessories
if any, ready.
2. Determine the zero
position of the gate and
prepare the cladding for
the foundation.
3. Use special elbow
bends for pulling in the empty pipework. The horizontal part of the
elbow bend and empty pipework must lie at least 80 cm below the
surface of the ground.

3
Fill up the cladding
with concrete. Allow
the concrete to rest
until it has cured
completely and in
accordance with the
specifications for the
concrete.

4
Now mark the boreholes
for the installation of the
post on the foundation.
Use an 18 mm drill bit for
the boreholes.
Attention: Do not make
the boreholes for the
entry post/catcher and
the rear roller rail yet
STEP
5
1. Clean the
boreholes
2. Remove residues of
dust and dirt from the
boreholes using an air
pump
3. Insert resin
capsules
STEP
6
Now insert the threaded
rods with rotary
movement into the
boreholes. The ends of
the threaded rods must
project at least 60 mm
over the foundation.
Allow the resin anchor to
cure in accordance with
the specification (45 minutes).
