6.2 Multi-Monitor Workstation Operation
A multi-monitor workstation can contain various combinations of up to four displays grouped from
outputs of SOB-QPW, SOB-HPW, SOB-H, or SOB-T.
In a multi-monitor workstation, the operation on each SOB-QPW and SOB-HPW’s output remains the
same as operating on a single monitor workstation. Refer to Chapter 5 “Basic Workstation Operation” for
detailed instructions.
To switch control from the SOB-QPW or SOB-HPW (Dual mode) display to another one, simply move
the Host cursor to the right or left side of the current display; the mouse/keyboard control will
automatically transfer from the current display to the adjacent one. The Host cursor will reappear on the
newly entered screen when switched into another SOB-QPW or SOB-HPW (Dual mode) display.
When switched into a SOB-H, SOB-T, or SOB-HPW (Seamless mode) display, the mouse/keyboard
control will be automatically transferred to the corresponding source computer. Moving the mouse
cursor residing in your operating system to the display’s right or left side (similar to moving the Host
cursor of the SOB-QPW/SOB-HPW) also transfers mouse/keyboard control to the adjacent display.
Upon moving the cursor to either end of the workstation (the left/right side of the left-most/right-most
display respectively), the cursor will be cycled and reappear on the opposite side of the workstation.

On multiviewer outputs (SOB-QPW or SOB-HPW), an additional tally (blue) will appear on each window
when the respective outputs are configured as part of a multi-monitor workstation. Blue tallies of each display
will activate and stay on when user transfers the respective mouse/keyboard control to another display.
