PLU Macros
A PLU Macro is a grouping of products based on a product line that can be assigned to a single
PLU Macro button. They are used where a number of items are bought together into a single
offer and allow the transaction to be processed with a single key press. Only non-weighed
products can be included in a PLU macro.
Buttons of this type can be added to any of the operator keyboards in the same way that PLU
buttons can be added. When the operator presses the PRINT or OPERATOR key (depending
upon the mode of operation), the scale will present for sale all of the items in the product line.
