5.3 Starting/Stopping Application Services
The application services installed on the Unified Communications Module can be started and stopped individually. This may
be necessary for maintenance or if a particular service is not currently required, for example if one-X Portal for IP Office
has been installed but is not wanted or currently licensed.
The services can be set to automatically start after a server reboot. By default all the application services are
automatically started.
5.3.1 Starting a Service
1.
to the server's web configuration pages.
2. Select Home (this is normally selected by default after logging in). The services and their current status (running or
stopped) are listed.
3. To start a particular service click on the Start button next to the service. To start all the services that are not
currently running, click on the Start All button.
5.3.2 Stopping a Service
1.
to the server's web configuration pages.
2. Select Home (this is normally selected by default after logging in). The services and their current status (running or
stopped) are listed.

running, click on the Stop All button.
4. The service's status changes to stopping while it is being stopped. If it remains in this state too long, the service
can be forced to stop by clicking on Force Stop.
