
2. Remove the four mounting screws from the front of the cabinet, and extend the PDU to allow
access to the power connections on the rear of the unit.
3. Remove the retaining nuts and lock washers from the power terminals. Place the crimp
connector on the studs, replace the nuts and lock washers, and tighten securely.
4. Place the PDU back into the cabinet and replace the four retaining screws.
DC Input Terminal Block
The Terminal Block supplies separate power feeds to components in the MPS cabinet (for example,
Sun Netra 240) that contain their own redundant power supplies. For detailed power specifications
on the Terminal Block, see
Caution:
The SUN Netra server has internal fuses within its power supplies. Do not attempt to replace the
fuses. The power supplies are not serviceable and can only be replaced as complete Field
Replaceable Units.

This block is intended to be wired with #4 wire and a compression terminal such as AMP #52043-3
or equivalent. This block is normally used to supply devices that have supply failure redundancy.
