2. Check that all the Alarm LEDs, C to K, are illuminated green. (H is not used). If the
Alarm LEDs are green, go to Step 4.
3. If all of the Alarm LEDs are not green,
a. Refer to the following table for descriptions of the four types of fault LEDs.

Fault description
CRT A critical system fault is an error or event that has a fatal
system impact. The system cannot continue to operate.
MJR A major system fault is an error or event that has a
discernible impact on system operation. The system
can continue to operate but with reduced performance.
MNR A minor system fault is an error or event that has little
impact on system operation. The system continues to
operate.
PWR A power supply fault indicates that the power supply is
not providing power. The MJR LED is also lit.
b. Refer to the following table to determine the action required after you
receive an alarm fault.

(amber) If LED (C) is continuously lit, there is a critical
system fault. A critical system fault is an error
or event that is detected by the system with
a fatal impact to the system. In this case, the
system cannot continue to operate.
D MJR
(amber) If LED (D) is continuously lit, this indicates
the presence of a major system fault. A major
system fault is an error or event that is
detected by the system that has a discernible
impact to system operation. In this case, the
