3.3.6 Instructions for the use of the antenna
It is recommended to follow the instructions here below:
• The antenna shall be respectively arranged at least 2 m and 15 cm far from any electronic
equipment and obstacle which may be available in the environment. It shall be put into
such a position that it can provide for a good reception of the RF field (refer to the C
EL

®
sound signalling for the received field).
• If the local equipment should start showing any malfunction or disturbance when the
equipment is in use, move the antenna to another place.
• Avoid using the integrated antenna when the equipment is used in a closed or shielding
environment (Driver’s cab of motor vehicles).
• Use the external antennas which can operate in the GSM Dual Band (890-960 MHz and
1710-1880 MHz) frequency range with a nominal impedance of 50W.
• Never put your hands on the antenna when the device is in use. This may compromise the
quality of the connection and force C

to require a higher transmission power.
• Never use C

if the antenna is visually damaged. In this case, it shall be immediately
repaired. It is recommended to use the antennas suggested by AUDIOTEL Engineering S.p.A.
3.4 SIM CARD INSERTION
The SIM-READER is arranged on a side of C

. Use a point to press the button intended
to take out the SIM-CARD (1). Remove the SIM-HOLDER support (2). Arrange the SIM-CARD
in the support (3) and insert it again (4). Make sure the SIM-CARD contacts may look
downwards.

DOESN’T WORK BECAUSE USING OLD TYPE SIM-CARD, IT IS
NECESSARY TO ASK TO REPLACE THE OLD TYPE WITH A NEW TYPE SIM-CARD TO ONE’S
OWN PROVIDER.
IN ORDER TO USE DATA/FAX SERVICES, MAKE SURE THE SIM CARD IS PROPERLY
ENABLED WITH THE DATA PHONE NUMBER AND THE FAX PHONE NUMBER (BESIDES
THE VOICE PHONE NUMBER)
