LESSON 2

Height Sensor and Probe Adjustments

OBJECTIVE:

Upon completion of this lesson, the student should be able to

setup the height sensor and make probe adjustments.

EXERCISE 3-5

Height Sensor and Probe Adjustments

Move the dispensing head to the front center of the dispensing area, using the position
controls on the Dispenser Control Panel.

Push the Height Sensor Probe up, making sure that the green LED on the Height Sensor turns
ON when the probe is in the UP position.

Click TOOLS in the Main Window.

Click TERMINAL in Tools.

Click DISPENSER.

Type GU and GD.

Check that the Height Sensor probe raises with the GU command and lowers with the GD
command.

Click EXIT on the menu bar.

Click I/O Test in Tools.

Click DISPENSER.

11.

Locate HEIGHT SENSOR PROBE bit in the I/O Dialog Box.

12.

Push the Height Sensor Probe up and down, making sure the HEIGHT SENSOR PROBE bit
toggles ON and OFF.

13.

Click OK to close the I/O Dialog Box.
