STUDENT GUIDE

LESSON 10 Powering Up and Down, CONTINUED

EXERCISE 1-9

Programming Start Up:

Turn ON the Main Power Switch.

Turn ON the Control Panel Power Switch.

Turn ON the Computer and Monitor Power Switch.

Close all other programs.

Double-click the FMW icon in the FMW Program Group to start FMW.

Click CONFIGURATION.

Select CALCULATE MASTER OFFSETS.

Follow the on-screen prompts.

Select TEACH A PROGRAM.

EXERCISE 1-10

Emergency Shutdown

Press ESTOP.

Press the Main Power Switch on the rear of the Century Series System OFF to complete
power off the system.

EXERCISE 1-11

To shut down at the end of a shift

Wait for the dispensing program to complete.

Press the Power Switch on the Control Panel OFF.

Remove workpieces from the dispensing area.

Remove the syringe from the dispense head.

Clean or purge your fluid pump.

EXERCISE 1-12

To shut down for service

End your dispensing program in FMW.

Remove the syringe from the dispense head.

Remove the workpieces from your area.

Clean or purge your fluid pump.

Press the Power Switch on the Control Panel OFF.

Press the Main Power Switch on the rear of the Century Series system OFF.

Unplug the Main Power Plug.

Remove the air supply by disconnecting your air source from Main Air In.

Perform service, as necessary.
