PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is a setting that allows you to modify the waveform cycle (or wave
length). This can be done manually with the help of a knob «PW» or by modulation (with an
envelope or LFO). Pulse width variation creates a spectrum modification that cannot be duplicated
with subtractive filtering.

The
triangle
wave can be considered like a very filtered (and soft) square signal. It is very
low in harmonics (odd only) and can be very useful for creating sub basses, flute sounds,
etc.…
