5 the interface
5.1
Tool bar
The tool bar consists of an ensemble of essential icons for the Jupiter-8V organized from left to
right allowing you to:
•
Access drop menus offering choices of banks/sub-banks and presets.
•
Importing and exporting of presets
•
MIDI activity light
•
Choice of MIDI channels: All, 1 to 16
•
The number of polyphonic voices
•
Playing Modes: Poly/Mono Low (in the context of a legato between two notes, low note gets
priority) Mono high ( in the context of a legato between two notes, high note gets the
priority) and Mono last (in the context of a legato between two notes, last note played gets
the priority)
•
The choice of edit modes: Presets/JP8/SEQ/FX
Example: to load a Jupiter-8V interface, click on the buttons « JP 8 »

5.2
Using the presets
The presets allow saving and recalling the sounds of the Jupiter-8V. A preset contains all the new
settings of the various controllers to reproduce a sound. In the software version, just like on the
original one, the presets are classified in two categories of presets: The "Patches" and the
"Programs".

The presets « PATCHES » can be saved :
