cPRP System
Operator’s Manual
The
Angel System
provides additional system flexibility through the use of custom
protocols in an effort to address the needs of the experienced clinician. Variation in
blood parameters may affect the collection of PRP. Custom protocols provide the
experienced user with the ability to adjust the centrifugation cycle to meet these
possible variations. Changes in the default processing volume and hematocrit of the
final PRP product are common custom protocols that are created. Custom protocols
that have changes in RPM and Time should only be created by those knowledgeable
in the methodology of blood component separation.
