Periodic Maintenance of the Therapy Unit
Periodic maintenance to be performed at regular intervals while the unit is in operation and after
each patient includes the following:
1. Operate the unit’s functions and observe the operation of the unit as outlined in the
Operation
chapter of this manual. If any abnormalities are observed in the operation of the
unit

2. Inspect the mattress, cover sheet, therapy unit and air supply hose for wear and damage.
Unserviceable items should be replaced with an identical item.

Power down the system.
•
Unlatch the drawer by lifting the button under the ‘handle’ part of the drawer.

Safe Transport and Storage of the
TheraKair Visio

Transport and Storage of Individual System Parts
It is recommended that the system should be transported and stored in the packaging provided. It
is also recommended that the
TheraKair Visio
MRS be stored in the bag provided.
Transport of System While Fitted to Hospital Bed
When transporting the system while attached to a hospital bed, ensure that the air supply hose and
the power cord are safely away from the wheels of the bed.
Take care that the therapy unit does not get damaged while pushing the bed through
hospital doors.
Slide the drawer fully out.
